Petopia and Speaking of Dogs Rescue

Petopia strongly believes in supporting worthy animal welfare and protection charities. One such charity we are proud to support is the Speaking of Dogs Rescue.

Speaking of Dogs Rescue was initiated in 2002 and to date has transported, spayed/neutered, vetted, fostered and found forever homes for over 250 abandoned, displaced dogs. Speaking of Dogs is dedicated to ending cruelty, abandonment, mistreatment and homelessness of man’s best friend through education, outreach and rescue. Many of the dogs entering the rescue program are seniors and require extra veterinary attention which may include specialized blood tests, dental procedures, biopsies, urinalysis and/or orthopedic surgeries. The dogs who come into rescue are typically from sheltering facilities and benefit from the loving home environment our foster families provide. As part of our efforts to help the abandoned and needy dogs, Petopia has allotted three spaces for the Speaking of Dogs fostering program. We hope to provide all the love and attention that these dogs deserve until they find a forever home.

Petopia will be organizing future charity events that will help raise funds for Speaking of Dogs. On behalf of the rescue, Petopia always welcomes donations of towels, dog crates, dog food / treats, leashes, collars, dog toys or monetary funds. As well, we will be holding Adoption Days so perspective doggie parents can visit with the adoptable dogs and interact with them in our dog park.
